Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, John Witherspoon had an illustrious career spanning over three decades in comedy and acting. This talented African-American star appeared in more than 20 movies and TV shows, leaving a lasting mark on Hollywood. His comedic talents shone brightly in films like "Hollywood Shuffle" (1987) and "Boomerang" (1992).
