Biography:

Academy Award-winning actress Jodie Foster began her career as a child model, swiftly transitioning into the world of cinema with roles in Disney films such as Napoleon and Samantha (1972), Freaky Friday (1976), and Candleshoe (1977). Early on, she caught the eye of director Martin Scorsese, who cast her in his comedy-drama Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974) and later in Taxi Driver (1976), where she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Throughout the 80s and 90s, Foster solidified her status as a leading actress with powerful performances in films like The Accused (1988) - which earned her another Academy Award – and The Silence of the Lambs (1991). She continued to captivate audiences in movies such as Sommersby (1993), Maverick (1994), Contact (1997), and The Silence of the Lambs sequel, Hannibal (2001).
