Biography:
Daniel Jason Sudeikis was born on September 18, 1975, and is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer who kicked off his career in the world of improv comedy during the '90s. As he honed his skills, Daniel performed with notable troupes like ComedySportz, iO Chicago (formerly Improv Olympic), and The Second City.
In 2003, NBC's sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live came calling, hiring him as a writer. His comedic prowess continued to shine as he became a cast member from 2005 to 2013, playing notable characters such as Joe Biden and Mitt Romney in political skits.
Sudeikis has also lent his voice to several animated projects, including The Cleveland Show (2009-2013) and providing voices for Epic (2013), The Angry Birds Movie (2016), The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019), and Next Gen (2018).
From 2020 to 2023, Sudeikis co-created and starred in the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ sports comedy series Ted Lasso, earning him four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards.
