Hailing from Listowel, Ontario, Jared Keeso was born on Canada's national day - making him as authentically Canadian as maple syrup. Growing up in this quintessential Canadian town, Jared was no stranger to the thrill of hockey and the grit of hard work, honing his skills at the local rink and pitching in at his family's sawmill.

His passion for acting eventually led him down a different path, one that would showcase his innate comedic timing and versatile acting ability. In 2016, Jared created and starred in the wildly popular comedy series Letterkenny, which has since garnered critical acclaim and a Canadian Screen Award for Best Comedy Series in 2017.

Not content to rest on his laurels, Jared continued to impress audiences with his powerful performances on the small screen. His portrayal of Ben Chartier in the gripping drama series 19-2 (2014-2017) earned him a Canadian Screen Award and solidified his status as one of Canada's leading men.

In addition to his work on Letterkenny and 19-2, Jared took on another challenge: bringing the legendary hockey icon Don Cherry to life in the television films Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story (2010) and The Wrath of Grapes: The Don Cherry Story II (2012).
