Biography:
P. V Jagadish Kumar, affectionately known as Jagadish, is a Malayalam film industry legend famous for his hilarious portrayals on screen. Over an acting career spanning more than three decades, Jagadish has appeared in over 300 films, solidifying his reputation as one of the most prolific comedic actors in the region. His memorable roles in In Harihar Nagar (1990), Godfather (1991), Butterflies (1993) and Hitler (1996) have become iconic, showcasing his incredible talent for making audiences laugh.
Before becoming a household name in cinema, Jagadish was a college lecturer, using his charismatic personality to inspire students before moving them to laughter in front of the camera. In addition to acting, he has also lent his creative talents as a screenwriter for several films. Dabbling in politics, Jagadish ran unsuccessfully in the 2016 Kerala state elections under the Indian National Congress banner.
