Born on May 16, 1993, Lee Ji-eun, better known to us as IU, is a multi-talented South Korean singer-songwriter and actress. Her journey began when she first stepped into the world of television in 2011 with her role in the popular drama series, Dream High.

Since then, IU has become synonymous with success, earning accolades for her outstanding performances in several South Korean dramas. Her impressive list of roles includes the talented producer in The Producers (2015), the fierce and determined Go Chae-ryung in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016), the tormented yet resilient Sung Dong-il's sister in My Mister (2018), and the enigmatic hotel owner, Koo Chae-won, in Hotel Del Luna (2019).

In addition to her small-screen successes, IU also ventured into the world of streaming with her role in the Netflix anthology series Persona (2019), further solidifying her global recognition.
