Born on June 15, 1969, O'Shea Jackson Sr., who later came to be widely recognized by his stage name, Ice Cube, was destined for greatness. Raised in South Central Los Angeles, the young rapper found solace and a creative outlet in hip-hop music.

Starting off as a member of the hip-hop group C.I.A., Jackson honed his skills before being recruited into the legendary group N.W.A. His powerful lyrics and raw talent propelled him to fame, and soon he became an integral part of the West Coast rap scene.

Branching out from music, Ice Cube ventured into the world of filmmaking.
