Deborah Ann Ryan, better known as Debby Ryan, was born on May 13, 1993, in Huntsville, Alabama. With a natural flair for performing arts, Debby began her career at the tender age of seven with roles in professional theaters across America. Her first big break came when she starred in Barney: Let's Go to the Firehouse, a straight-to-DVD film part of the popular children's show, Barney & Friends.
It was not long before Disney caught wind of this talented young actress and invited her into their fold. Debby's charming and versatile acting skills quickly made her a favorite among Disney Channel viewers. She charmed audiences as Bailey Pickett in The Suite Life on Deck from 2008 to 2011. In 2010, she stole the hearts of millions with her leading role in the Disney Channel Original Movie, 16 Wishes, which became the most-watched cable program on its premiere day.
Debby's growing popularity led her to expand her horizons beyond Disney. She took on the lead role in the indie film, What If..., which premiered in August 2010, showcasing her ability to tackle diverse roles outside of her comfort zone.
