Biography:
Daniela Melchior, born on November 1st, 1996, in Almada, Setúbal, is a talented Portuguese actress who has been captivating audiences with her performances since she launched her career in 2014. She made her debut in the telenovela Mulheres and continued to build an impressive portfolio of roles in teen drama Massa Fresca (2016), as well as telenovelas Ouro Verde (2017) and A Herdeira (2018).
Her big-screen debut came in 2018 with the film The Black Book, and she went on to provide the Portuguese dubbing for Gwen Stacy in the animated blockbuster Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. That same year, Daniela starred in the comedy-drama Parque Mayer, a role that earned her a nomination for the prestigious Sophia Award for Best Actress.
Daniela's international breakthrough came with her captivating portrayal of Cleo Cazo in The Suicide Squad (2021), a film set within the DC Extended Universe. Her outstanding performance in the movie garnered her a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Portuguese Golden Globe Awards.
Following her successful turn in The Suicide Squad, Daniela has continued to make waves in Hollywood, taking on minor roles in several high-profile English-language films, such as Marlowe (2022), Assassin Club (2023), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023), and Fast X (2023).
