Daniel Brühl, born June 16, 1978, is a German-Spanish actor who has made a significant impact in the world of cinema. With a versatile acting style and an impressive body of work, he has earned numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career.

Brühl began his ascent to international fame with roles in the German films Das Weisse Rauschen (2001), Nichts Bereuen (2001), Vaya con Dios (2002), and Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) which garnered him two German Film Awards for Best Actor and a European Film Award for Best Actor. He then captivated audiences worldwide as Fredrick Zoller in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds (2009), followed by roles in The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), The Fifth Estate (2013), and A Most Wanted Man (2014).
