Colin Lewes Hanks, an American actor and filmmaker, has made a name for himself both on screen and behind the camera. Born into a family of artists, he is the son of renowned actor Tom Hanks and Samantha Lewes. Growing up in California, Colin's love for storytelling led him to pursue a career in entertainment.

Colin's breakthrough role came when he starred as Alex Whitman on the sci-fi series Roswell, which aired from 1999 to 2001. His performance gained him widespread recognition and paved the way for his leading role in Orange County (2002). The film, a coming-of-age comedy, showcased Colin's versatility as an actor and solidified his status in Hollywood.

In 2005, Colin took on the challenge of playing Jack Driscoll in Peter Jackson's epic remake of King Kong.
