Born in April 3, 1982, Jacoba Francisca Maria "Cobie" Smulders hails from Canada and has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry. She is best known for her leading role as Robin Scherbatsky in the popular CBS sitcom, How I Met Your Mother, which aired from 2005 to 2014. Her versatile acting skills also earned her the role of S.H.I.E.L.D agent Maria Hill in Marvel's blockbuster superhero franchise, debuting in The Avengers in 2012.
Smulders' filmography boasts an impressive array of projects, ranging from romantic drama Safe Haven (2013) to animated blockbusters like the Lego Movie franchise (2014-2019). She has also starred in indie films such as Results (2015), The Intervention (2016), and Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016).
