Born on March 29, 1957 in the United States, Christophe Guy Denis "Christopher" Lambert is an acclaimed French actor with an impressive repertoire of films under his belt. He has starred not only in French and other European productions but also made a significant mark in American cinema. Lambert's most iconic role to date remains that of Connor MacLeod, or "The Highlander," from the cult film series with the same name.
Lambert's remarkable acting career began with his portrayal of Tarzan in the 1984 film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. He continued to captivate audiences when he took on the role of the thunder god Raiden in the first movie adaptation of the video game Mortal Kombat. His international fame is credited as Christopher Lambert, except in French-speaking countries where he is known as Christophe Lambert.
