She began her acting career in 1989 with a role on Nickelodeon's children's series "Hey Dude," playing Melody Hanson, the show's lifeguard. In 1995, Taylor was cast as Marcia Brady in "The Brady Bunch Movie" and later reprised her role in its sequel, "A Very Brady Sequel."
