Biography:

Born as Christine Marié Flores in Waldorf, Maryland, on September 26th, 1981, Christina Milian is a multi-talented American artist who has captivated audiences with her singing, acting, dancing, and modeling prowess. At the tender age of 13, she moved to Los Angeles with dreams of becoming an actress. By the time she was 17, she had already started writing songs in hopes of securing a recording contract.

Over the years, Milian has released three studio albums, with her self-titled debut album hitting shelves in 2001. This album featured popular singles like "AM to PM" and "When You Look at Me," which both found their way into the UK Singles Chart's top three spots. Her second studio album, "It's About Time," released in 2004, was a significant milestone as it propelled her first major US hit, "Dip It Low."

Milian's third studio album, "So Amazin'," came out in 2006 and produced only one single, "Say I." A creative disagreement led to her departure from Island Records just a month after the release of "So Amazin'." However, Milian quickly bounced back and signed with Interscope Records in 2009. Through this label, she released a ballad called "Us Against the World" as the first single off her upcoming album, titled "Elope."

Although Christina Milian is best known for her singing career, she initially dreamed of being an actress. Her first significant role came in 2003 when she landed the lead in the film "Love Don't Cost a Thing." She continued to showcase her acting abilities in movies like "Be Cool" and the horror film "Pulse." Milian also took on smaller roles in films such as "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" and starred as the lead role in the straight-to-DVD film, "Bring It On: Fight to the Finish."

On a more personal note, Christina Milian married R&B singer/songwriter The-Dream in a spontaneous Las Vegas ceremony on September 4th, 2009. Their daughter, Violet, was born on February 26th, 2010. However, the couple announced their separation on July 12th, 2010. Despite these personal challenges, Milian continues to captivate audiences with her multifaceted talents and unwavering dedication to her craft.
