Biography:

Born on June 21, 1979, Christopher Michael Pratt is an American actor who has made a name for himself in both television and film industries. Kicking off his career with a role as Bright Abbott in The WB drama series Everwood from 2002 to 2006, Pratt's journey to stardom was well underway.

In 2009, he joined the cast of NBC's sitcom Parks and Recreation where his performance earned him critical acclaim and a nomination for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2013. Pratt also appeared in various films throughout the years, including Wanted (2008), Jennifer's Body (2009), Moneyball (2011), The Five-Year Engagement (2012), Zero Dark Thirty (2013), Delivery Man (2013), and Her (2013).

However, it was in 2014 when Pratt truly stepped into the spotlight as a leading man. That year, he lent his voice to Emmet Brickowski in The Lego Movie and portrayed Star-Lord in Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy, both of which became critical and commercial successes.

His fame continued with roles in Jurassic World (2015), its sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), and reprisals of his Marvel role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and the forthcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

In addition, Pratt was part of an ensemble cast in The Magnificent Seven (2016) and starred as the male lead in Passengers (also released in 2016). Throughout his career, Chris Pratt has demonstrated his versatility and charm, captivating audiences in various genres and roles.
