Christopher David Noth, born on November 13, 1954, is an American actor who has captivated audiences with his incredible TV roles. Noth rose to fame as NYPD Detective Mike Logan in the iconic show "Law & Order" (1990-1995), a character he reprised in its spinoff series "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" from 2005 to 2008.
His remarkable talent didn't go unnoticed, and Noth was soon cast as the charming, wealthy businessman Big on HBO's hit series "Sex and the City" (1998-2004). His outstanding performance earned him a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 1999.
Noth continued to impress viewers when he joined the critically acclaimed show "The Good Wife" (2009-2016), portraying Peter Florrick, the former governor turned lawyer. The captivating role garnered him another Golden Globe nomination in 2010.
Noth reprised his roles as Mike Logan and Big in the feature films "Sex and the City" (2008) and its sequel, "Sex and the City 2" (2010). His acting journey took a new turn when he starred in the first two seasons of the 2021 revival of "The Equalizer," playing a pivotal role on CBS. Unfortunately, his appearance in the revival of "Sex and the City," titled "And Just Like That...", was limited due to sexual assault allegations against him that surfaced in December 2021.
