Biography:

Born in Boston on June 13th, 1981, Christopher Robert Evans kickstarted his acting career with appearances in television series such as "Opposite Sex" in the year 2000. His journey led him to play roles in numerous teen movies, including "Not Another Teen Movie," released in 2001. However, it was his portrayal of Marvel Comics' iconic character the Human Torch in 2005's "Fantastic Four" that catapulted him into the limelight. This success continued with its sequel, "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," released in 2007.

Evans's fascination with comic book adaptations led him to star in more films based on graphic novels and comics. He lent his voice to the character of Leonardo in the 2007 adaptation of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," appeared in the cult classic "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" in 2010, and played a significant role in the dystopian thriller "Snowpiercer" released in 2013.

However, it was his portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films that made him an international sensation. He starred in "Captain America: The First Avenger" (2011), "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" (2014), and "Captain America: Civil War" (2016). He also featured in the ensemble movies, "The Avengers" (2012), "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015), "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018), and "Avengers: Endgame" (2019) which further solidified his place in the world of cinema. His successful stint with Marvel established him as one of the highest-paid actors globally.

Not limiting himself to comic book roles, Evans starred in the drama "Gifted" (2017), the mystery thriller "Knives Out" (2019), and the television miniseries "Defending Jacob" (2020). In 2014, he made his directorial debut with the romantic drama "Before We Go," in which he also produced and starred. Evans ventured into theatre with his Broadway debut in the 2018 revival of Kenneth Lonergan's play "Lobby Hero." This performance earned him a Drama League Award nomination.
