Born in November 18th, 1974, Chloë Stevens Sevigny is an American actress known for her work in independent films. Often appearing in controversial or experimental features, she has garnered several accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination.
After graduating from high school, Chloë ventured into modeling and featured in music videos for Sonic Youth and The Lemonheads, which catapulted her to "it girl" status. In 1995, she made her film debut in Kids and soon became a prominent figure in the independent film scene throughout the late 1990s. Her breakthrough role came when she portrayed Lana Tisdel in Boys Don't Cry (1999), earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
