Biography:
Born Casandra Ventura on August 26, 1986, she is better known by her stage name, Cassie. As a half Filipino and half black talent, Cassie has made quite the impression in the world of music, modeling, and dancing. Her journey began when she was introduced to music producer Ryan Leslie, who was so captivated by her raw talent that he signed her to his innovative company, NextSelection Lifestyle Group.
Together with Leslie's mentorship, Cassie's first single "Me & U" came to life in 2006. The track quickly gained widespread success and catapulted her into the spotlight. Impressed by the songstress's potential, Sean "Diddy" Combs decided to partner his Bad Boy Records with Leslie's NextSelection imprint for the release of Cassie's debut album, also titled "Cassie," which hit shelves in August 2006.
Since then, fans have eagerly anticipated the release of her second album, "Electro Love." While it has yet to see the light of day, one thing is for sure - Cassie's remarkable journey has only just begun, with much more music and success in store.
