Born around 1962, Bridget Hoffman is an American voice actress and ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) writer who has been a vital part of the anime industry for decades. Primarily working under the alias Ruby Marlowe, she has provided voices for numerous English-language versions of Japanese anime films and television series, capturing the essence and emotion of each character. Before her involvement in anime, Hoffman had brief stints as an on-screen actress in various films and TV shows like Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, produced by Sam Raimi.
Hoffman's extensive career has included voicing several iconic characters. She brought life to the title characters of memorable anime such as Belldandy in Ah! My Goddess: The Movie, Mizuho Kazami in Please Teacher!, Mima Kirigoe in Perfect Blue, and Lain Iwakura in Serial Experiments Lain.
