Brian Cox

Scottish actor Brian Denis Cox, often referred to simply as Brian Cox, is a talented and versatile artist who has made a name for himself in both stage and screen performances. Born and raised in Scotland, he began his acting journey at the Dundee Repertory Theatre and later became a founding member of the Royal Lyceum Theatre. His passion for Shakespearean plays led him to train as a Shakespearean actor, starring in numerous productions with the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Cox's exceptional talent was recognized early on when he took on the challenging role of King Lear, which earned him two prestigious Laurence Olivier Awards for Best Actor. He received additional nominations for his work in Misalliance and Fashion.
