Biography:

Born on November 11, 1951, in Stamford, Connecticut, William "Bill" Moseley grew up in Barrington Hills, Illinois. The son of a journalist mother, Virginia Gillette (Kleitz), and a father, S.D. Moseley (Spencer Dumaresq Moseley), who was not only an esteemed member of the Yale Corporation but also a successful businessman, Bill seemed destined for greatness from a young age.

With football running through his veins, as both his father and grandfather played at Yale University, it's no surprise that Bill pursued academic excellence, eventually becoming a graduate of Yale University himself. However, unlike his family's athletic pursuits, Bill found his creative outlet in writing. For a period, he even worked as a journalist, penning articles for magazines such as Omni, National Lampoon, and Psychology Today.

But it was the world of film that truly captured Moseley's heart. In 1986, he landed his first big role in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 as Chop Top, an unforgettable performance that solidified his status as a horror film icon. Throughout his career, Bill has appeared in several cult classic horror films like House of 1000 Corpses, Repo! The Genetic Opera, and The Devil's Rejects, becoming synonymous with the genre.

In addition to his acting pursuits, Moseley is also a musician, having released records with guitarist Buckethead in the band Cornbugs. This multifaceted talent showcases Bill's passion for creativity and his undeniable place in both film and music industries.
