Born on December 9th, 1941, Beau Bridges has had a lengthy and illustrious career in Hollywood as an actor and director. The son of legendary actor Lloyd Bridges and elder brother to Jeff Bridges, Beau's journey into the entertainment world began early with uncredited roles in films such as 'Force of Evil' (1948) and 'No Minor Vices' (1948). In 1949, he appeared in 'The Red Pony', further solidifying his passion for acting.

During the 1960s, Beau shared the screen with his father on their family TV show, 'The Lloyd Bridges Show'. The following decades saw him star in popular TV series like 'National Velvet' (1962), 'The Fugitive' (1963), 'Bonanza' (1967), and 'The Loner' (1966). His filmography during this time included memorable roles in 'The Landlord' (1970), 'The Other Side of the Mountain' (1975), 'Greased Lightning' (1977), 'Norma Rae' (1979), 'Heart Like a Wheel' (1983), and 'The Hotel New Hampshire' (1984).

Beau Bridges gained significant recognition in 1989 when he starred as one of the Baker brothers in 'The Fabulous Baker Boys'.
