Austin Stowell, born on December 24, 1984 in Kensington, Connecticut, is an American actor whose career has taken him from his small-town roots to the silver screen. Raised by his father Robert, a retired steelworker, and his mother Elizabeth, who worked as a schoolteacher, Austin's passion for acting began at a young age.

After graduating from Berlin High School in 2003 with dreams of becoming an actor, Austin enrolled at the prestigious University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut. As part of the Department of Dramatic Arts within the School of Fine Arts, he honed his skills through various productions with the Connecticut Repertory Theatre. Some of these roles included Julius Caesar, It Can't Happen Here, and As You Like It.

In 2007, Austin graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, ready to embark on his professional acting career. His talents quickly caught the attention of Hollywood producers, leading him to land notable roles such as Kyle Connellan in Alcon Entertainment's Dolphin Tale and its sequel Dolphin Tale 2. Austin also starred alongside Liam Hemsworth in the Vietnam-set romantic drama Love and Honor, a film that showcases his versatility as an actor.
