Born and raised in Irinjalakuda, Kerala, Anupama came from a loving family consisting of her father E. Parameshwaran, her mother Sunitha, and herself. She completed her formative education at both Don Bosco Higher Secondary School and National Higher Secondary School in Irinjalakuda before diving into the world of Communicative English studies at CMS College Kottayam.
Anupama's journey towards becoming a prominent figure in the Malayalam film industry began with her breakthrough role in the blockbuster movie "Premam." In this coming-of-age romantic drama, she portrayed the character of Mary George and won the hearts of critics and audiences alike with her endearing performance.
