Biography:

Born on January 2, 1983, in Winchester, Massachusetts, Anthony Carrigan has made a name for himself as an incredibly talented and versatile actor. He graduated from Winchester High School and went on to attend Carnegie Mellon University before embarking on his acting career.

From 2018 to 2023, Carrigan played the hilariously charming Chechen mobster NoHo Hank in the critically acclaimed HBO series "Barry." This role has garnered him three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2019, 2022, and 2023. Prior to his success on "Barry," Carrigan was known for his roles as Tyler Davies in the television series "The Forgotten" (2009-2010), Victor Zsasz in FOX's "Gotham" (2014-2019), and robot Dennis Caleb McCoy in "Bill & Ted Face the Music" (2020).

Intriguingly, Carrigan has been living with alopecia areata since childhood. This autoimmune disease causes hair loss, which led to mild symptoms for him during his younger years, with only small, manageable bald spots. However, as he entered his 20s, he began losing more hair and had to resort to wearing makeup and artificial eyebrows while filming "The Forgotten." Today, Carrigan is known for his complete lack of hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes, which has ironically become a defining aspect of his career. He's been typecast as a television villain but has embraced this unique trait, making it an essential part of his on-screen presence.

Carrigan's journey from Massachusetts to Hollywood is filled with fascinating twists and turns, and his dedication to his craft and ability to transform into diverse characters have solidified him as a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
