Biography:

Aidan Murphy, better known as Aidan Gillen, was born in 1967 or 1968 and is a talented Irish actor who has captivated audiences through his diverse range of roles. His acting career took off with his portrayal of Stuart Alan Jones in the British television series "Queer as Folk" from 1999 to 2000.

Gillen's star continued to rise when he landed the role of Tommy Carcetti in the critically acclaimed series "The Wire," which aired from 2004 to 2008, and later appeared as John Boy in the Irish crime drama "Love/Hate" between 2010 and 2011.

However, it was his portrayal of Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish in the global phenomenon "Game of Thrones" (2011-2017) that truly solidified Gillen's status as a leading man. His cunning and manipulative character became one of the show's most intriguing and complex figures.
