Biography:

Born in San Diego, California, on November 19, 1983, Adam Douglas Driver is a multi-talented actor who has captivated audiences with his outstanding performances. Before embarking on an acting career, Driver served as a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, which added depth to his character and helped shape him into the accomplished artist he is today.

Driver's journey into showbiz began with his Broadway debut in Mrs. Warren's Profession (2010) and Man and Boy (2011). However, it was his role in the HBO comedy-drama series Girls (2012–2017) that catapulted him to stardom. His exceptional performance earned him three consecutive Primetime Emmy nominations and solidified his place as an up-and-coming actor.

Dipping his toes into the film industry, Driver appeared in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln (2012), Noah Baumbach's Frances Ha (2012), and the Coen Brothers' Inside Llewyn Davis (2013). He went on to win the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival for his lead role in Hungry Hearts (2014) before taking on diverse characters in Paterson (2016), Silence (2016), and Logan Lucky (2017).

Driver's portrayal of Ben Solo/Kylo Ren in the Star Wars sequel trilogy (2015–2019) made him a household name. His acting prowess was further acknowledged with Academy Award nominations; Best Supporting Actor for Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman (2018), and Best Actor for Noah Baumbach's Marriage Story (2019). In 2021, Driver starred in the musical Annette and two films directed by Ridley Scott: The Last Duel and House of Gucci.

In addition to his acting career, Driver is the founder of Arts in the Armed Forces, a non-profit organization that provides free arts programming to American active-duty service members, veterans, military support staff, and their families worldwide.
