Biography:

Abigail Kathleen Breslin was born on April 14, 1996, in New York City. From a young age, she displayed an innate talent for the arts, and by three years old, she was already appearing in commercials. Her film debut came in M. Night Shyamalan's science fiction horror film, Signs (2002), which earned her a Young Artist Award nomination.

Over the next few years, Abigail continued to hone her skills and expand her portfolio with roles in Raising Helen (2004) and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004). However, it was her breakout performance in the comedy-drama film Little Miss Sunshine (2006) that truly catapulted her into stardom. At just ten years old, she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress—an impressive feat for someone so young.
