Aaron Perry Taylor-Johnson, known professionally as Aaron Taylor-Johnson, was born June 13, 1990, in High Wycombe, England. He began his acting career as a child, starring in various films such as Shanghai Knights (2003), The Illusionist (2006), and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008). His breakthrough role came when he was cast as John Lennon in the biopic Nowhere Boy (2009), directed by Sam Taylor-Wood, whom he later married in 2012, adopting her surname.
Following his success in Nowhere Boy, Aaron went on to play diverse roles in films like Savages (2012), Anna Karenina (2012), and Godzilla (2014). In Kick-Ass (2010) and its sequel, he brought the title character to life, establishing himself as a leading actor in Hollywood. He also portrayed Pietro Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), becoming part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
