Princess of the Sun

In a time when Ancient Egypt is ruled under the monotheistic regime of Akhenaten, we are introduced to Princess Akhesa, a spirited 14-year-old who chafes against her father's strict rules. Unwilling to remain confined within the walls of her royal palace, she yearns for answers about her mother, Queen Nefertiti, who has been exiled to an island called Elephantine. Joined by her half-brother, young prince Tutankhaten, or "Tut," Akhesa makes a daring escape from the court in pursuit of her mother. Their journey takes them on a perilous voyage down the Nile and through the scorching desert sands as they face off against the sinister mercenary Zannanza and the priests of Amun Ra, who seek to overthrow Akhenaten due to his rejection of their god. Despite the many trials that beset them, Akhesa and Tut's unwavering innocence serves as a powerful weapon, guiding them through hardships and leading them towards an extraordinary destiny.
