Prince: Sign O’ the Times

In 1987, Prince took advantage of his escalating popularity in Europe to embark on an extensive tour promoting his self-titled album. Though sales were thriving across the Atlantic, they began to decline in the United States. To reignite interest, he decided to create a live concert film showcasing his latest material for theaters in America. Joined by his talented band comprising dancer Cat Glover, keyboardist Boni Boyer, bassist Levi Seacer Jr., guitarist Miko Weaver, drummer Sheila E., and former Revolution member Dr. Fink, this lively performance captures the essence of Prince's electrifying stage presence. Although "U Got the Look" is represented through its promotional music video, the film primarily features the group delivering an unforgettable live performance on stage.
