In this intriguing narrative, we follow the life of Gulley Jimson, a seasoned artist who has recently completed his stint in prison. With a knack for trickery and a relentless passion for art, he sets out to find his next canvas for creation. His wandering leads him to the penthouse of well-meaning but naive patrons, the Beeders, who are currently enjoying an extended vacation. While residing in their luxurious abode, Jimson decides to adorn their walls with a mesmerizing mural, fund his projects by pawning their valuables, and forms a unique bond with fellow artist Abel. However, in true Gulley style, they both accidentally destroy an integral part of the penthouse - a large hole is created in the floor. Moving on to his grandest project yet, Jimson focuses on painting a massive mural in an abandoned church. With each brushstroke and sculpted masterpiece, he challenges societal norms and pushes the boundaries of artistic expression.
