Description:
In this poignant character study, Julien Bouin and Clemence navigate a strained marriage filled with silence and distance in their modest, soon-to-be demolished home. Once a typographist and circus performer respectively, the couple struggles to find common ground as they grow increasingly detached from one another. Their emotional disconnection is further complicated by the dynamic between Julien and his cat Greffier; while Clemence's resentment builds towards the feline who seemingly captures her husband's attention, Julien clings to it as a source of solace in their crumbling relationship. The film delicately explores themes of isolation, connection, and the complexities that arise when two individuals grapple with life changes and personal growth within the confines of a shared space.
