Plot:

Sébastien, an efficient train inspector with dreams of living in the South of France, finds himself on a seemingly routine final journey before securing his transfer. However, fate seems to have other plans as he is paired with Madeleine, a fellow inspector who exudes a touch of sociopathy and refuses to allow Sébastien to leave her side. As the journey progresses, it rapidly descends into chaos: from an overenthusiastic driver who appears to be piloting a fighter jet rather than a passenger train, to a jealous colleague and a collection of increasingly eccentric passengers, this should have been a simple formal procedure but quickly transforms into Sébastien's nightmare commute.

What Makes "The Madness Express" Stand Out:

  • The cinematography captures the claustrophobic nature of the train setting while still allowing for dynamic shots during action sequences.

  • The lead actor, Sébastien, must navigate through a diverse cast of eccentric characters, each with their own motivations and secrets.
  • Madeleine, the sociopathic co-inspector, adds a layer of tension and intrigue that keeps viewers guessing until the end.
