Plot:
Sébastien, an efficient train inspector with dreams of living in the South of France, finds himself on a seemingly routine final journey before securing his transfer. However, fate seems to have other plans as he is paired with Madeleine, a fellow inspector who exudes a touch of sociopathy and refuses to allow Sébastien to leave her side. As the journey progresses, it rapidly descends into chaos: from an overenthusiastic driver who appears to be piloting a fighter jet rather than a passenger train, to a jealous colleague and a collection of increasingly eccentric passengers, this should have been a simple formal procedure but quickly transforms into Sébastien's nightmare commute.
