In the picturesque setting of Cortina d'Ampezzo, a group of unlikely companions find themselves sharing a chalet over the festive Christmas holidays. Pasquale Esposito, an ordinary man who unexpectedly won the Superenalotto jackpot, is accompanied by his family. Joining them are two young students hailing from Emilia, who have little more than their dreams to keep them going. Completing this diverse quartet are members of the Colombo and Covelli families, also in search of a place to celebrate the holiday season.
