Laurent Monier, a devoted history and geography teacher, seeks to reconnect with his children after going through a divorce. He decides to leave his peaceful provincial school in exchange for a challenging role at a sensitive college in Paris' suburbs. Assigned to teach the notoriously difficult fourth techno class, Laurent also has to navigate life in the Cité des Muriers, a complex urban neighborhood rife with socio-economic challenges. Despite the odds against him, Laurent is determined to make a positive impact on both his students and their community while learning valuable lessons along the way. Through his experiences, Laurent not only strives to be a better father but also a catalyst for change in a city that never sleeps.
