This cinematic continuation of the beloved Mexican comedy series El Chanfle (1979) returned to theaters in 1982 with most of its original cast reassembled, albeit with a few notable exceptions. Carlos Villagran and Ramon Valdez had made their departures for personal reasons prior to this installment, but many familiar faces were back in place. The film revolves around a struggling stagehand and his wife Tere, who together dream of having a child.
