This Dutch film centers around five ambitious dancers who, after learning that their government-subsidized trip to an esteemed dance competition in New York is cancelled at the very last minute, decide not to let the opportunity slip away. In a bold move, they acquire false plane tickets and head off to compete anyway. Upon arrival in New York, however, they quickly realize their rash decision has left them penniless, planless, and without any of their original dance crews. Instead of giving up on their dream, the determined dancers band together, forging a new crew from diverse backgrounds. Facing the challenge head-on, they navigate life in New York with no cash, all while working tirelessly to ensure their participation in the prestigious competition. Amidst this journey of survival and camaraderie, their shared passion for dance not only binds them together but propels them towards achieving their ultimate goal.
