Ting-yin, a young author basking in the success of her romantic trilogy, grapples with the challenge of crafting its sequel. Her initial efforts result in drafting the first chapter, only to delete it shortly after. As if in response, she encounters an eerie series of coincidences that defy logic - a doorknob spinning on its own, whispers from nowhere, and other unexplained phenomena. It becomes increasingly apparent that these supernatural occurrences are somehow mirroring the very plot points she had tentatively written and discarded. As Ting-yin delves deeper into this mysterious world, she must confront the profound interplay between imagination, reality, and the unknown, all while trying to find her muse in the most unexpected places.
