In this heartwarming comedy-drama, Swedish efficiency researchers embark on an unconventional journey to study Norwegian kitchen habits, aiming to enhance productivity and organization in daily life. Folke Nilsson, a dedicated researcher played by Tomas Norström, is tasked with observing Isak Bjørvik, portrayed by Joachim Calmeyer, through the lens of his institute's strict rules - silently monitoring from an umpire chair in Isak's kitchen. However, both protagonists, grappling with post-war tensions and loneliness, find solace in unexpected friendship.
