In the heart of Casablanca, Abla operates a humble bakery from her own home where she lives with her young daughter Warda. Their everyday existence revolves around chores and schoolwork until an unexpected knock at their door upends their routine. Samia, a pregnant woman seeking employment and shelter, stands before them. Warda instantly takes a liking to the newcomer; however, Abla remains hesitant to invite a stranger into their lives. As time unfolds, Abla's resistance gradually melts away, allowing Samia's presence to offer not only refuge but also a chance at a new chapter for all three women.
