Nestled on the periphery of a quaint town lies an old, imposing mansion where 17-year-old Phil resides with his mother and twin sister. Upon his return from summer camp, he senses a discordant atmosphere within their walls that he initially dismisses as insignificant. Instead, Phil finds solace in the company of his best friend Kat, sharing in their usual adventures. However, when Phil begins to experience an unfamiliar attraction towards a secretive new student at school, this teenage boy is thrust into the tumultuous waters of adolescent emotion, only to be further distressed by the mounting tension within the confines of his peculiar family life.
