Forbidden Empire

In the early 18th century, cartographer Jonathan Green embarks on a scientific expedition traversing Europe towards the East. After braving Transylvania and the Carpathian Mountains, he unexpectedly finds himself in a remote village hidden among dense, impenetrable woods. A fortunate accident accompanied by thick fog leads him to this seemingly cursed location. The inhabitants of this forgotten land possess features that differ from any others Jonathan has encountered on his journey. These villagers have constructed a deep moat as a defensive barrier between themselves and the outside world. However, their naive belief is that they can protect themselves against evil, unaware that the darkness has already seeped into their very souls, lurking and waiting for an opportunity to erupt upon the world.
