When Jessica returns to her childhood home with her family, she inadvertently brings along an unsettling presence in the form of a seemingly innocuous stuffed bear named Chauncey. Her youngest stepdaughter Alice becomes intrigued by this odd toy and starts engaging in games with it. At first, these interactions seem harmless and even amusing but soon take a darker turn as Alice's behavior grows increasingly erratic under the influence of the enchanted bear. As Jessica watches her family unravel around her, she becomes determined to confront the supernatural force that has infiltrated their lives.
