In the vast landscapes of rural New Mexico, we encounter a young and ambitious 21-year old who finds himself working in the construction industry. Stepping away from his current life path, he begins to explore an unexpected community - one comprised of queer ranchers and rodeo performers who are also seeking their own interpretation of the elusive American dream. This film delves into themes of self-discovery, acceptance, and community in a setting that blends traditional rural values with the diverse expressions of modern gender identities and sexual orientations. As our protagonist navigates this world, he must confront his own preconceived notions while embracing the shared aspirations that connect him to these fellow dreamers.
