In a world where humanity once thrived beneath the sea, two distinct societies have emerged: those who reside below the waves and those who have permanently migrated to the surface. The latter group, having abandoned their underwater home, lost a divine gift known as "Ena" that granted them the ability to breathe underwater. This rift between the ocean-dwellers and the surface inhabitants has grown over time, yet the connection between these two societies still remains.Hikari Sakishima and Manaka Mukaido embark on an unexpected journey when they are compelled to attend a school on land, accompanied by their childhood friends Chisaki Hiradaira and Kaname Isaki. As they navigate their new surroundings, the group encounters Tsumugu Kihara, a fellow student and fisherman who possesses a deep reverence for the sea.As Hikari and his friends' lives unfold, they are faced with the challenges of overcoming prejudice and tension between the surface dwellers and the underwater inhabitants.
