Twenty years on from the heated battles waged within two Mexico City apartments, life has moved on significantly for Ana, Carlos, Andrea, Miguel, Tomás, and María. While memories of their tumultuous past remain, only the chilling image of Tomás' lifeless body at the bottom of an elevator shaft lingers on as a physical reminder of that time. Since then, each character's life has evolved, families have grown, and they have all faced new challenges. However, unexpected characters emerge to disrupt their routines and set off a chain of events, forcing them to confront how much the world has changed since those days – with modesty replaced by public disclosure, casual hook-ups made easy through apps, yet love remaining as elusive and sought-after as ever in a banal and chaotic society.
