Sonchiriya

In the rugged Chambal Valley of India during 1975, a notorious gang of rebels called Bhaagis, led by Maan Singh, thrives on a life of crime and robbing unsuspecting village communities. Ostracized for their previous heinous act, the gang is constantly pursued by local law enforcement. Despite being outlaws, they hear of an imminent gold transaction at a nearby wedding reception, making it their next target. Unbeknownst to them, the plan is a trap set up by police officers. As some members narrowly escape the ambush and flee into the barren wilderness, tension within the group rises over their future actions. They stumble upon an ostracized woman from the lowest caste, who is hunted by her own clan for avenging the rape and severe injury inflicted on her young daughter by the leader of that very same group. Seizing this chance at redemption, the bandits devise a plan to right their past wrongs, navigating between the lines of lawlessness and justice in an intense battle against societal norms.
